Microsoft licensing AR technology...


Microsoft gets GeoVector tech for mobile AR, spatial control




Microsoft on Wednesday struck a licensing deal with GeoVector that could hint at the future of apps and possibly control for Windows Phone. The union gives access to patents for augmented reality as well as "pointing-based local search" and other forms of mobile spatial navigation. The terms of the deal weren't given....
